A Bus Tour Around Ukraine

2 week programme ( 14 days)

Day 1
Meeting at the Hungarian-Ukrainian border in Chop. Transfer to Mukachevo. Check in the hotel. A tour around a famous castle of ” Palanok” and a walk in the city centre. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2
After breakfast a transfer across the picturesque Ukrainian Carpathians along the Ukrainian and Hungarian border up to Chernivtsi. Check in the hotel.

Day 3
Going through Kamyanets’-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsya, Uman’ up to Odessa. Late arrival to Odessa. Check in the hotel.

Day 4
The whole day is dedicated to meeting with Odessa, the pearl of the Black Sea. A city tour where you’ll see the Prymorskyi Boulevard, a monument to Richelieu, Potyomkin stairs which lead to Odessa port, renowned Deribassovskaya street and Odessa Opera Theatre.

Day 5
A transfer through Mykolaiv and Kherson to the Crimea. The aim of visiting this peninsula – is the Southern Coast known for its breathtaking beauty and the most famous resort city of Yalta. Check in the hotel.

Day 6
This day you’ll get to know Yalta, a city which attracts hundred thousands of tourists. You’ll have the chance to visit the Livadiya Palace – a summer residence of Russian tsars of Romanov dynasty and a place where the famous Yalta Conference was held, A Swallows Nest – castle on the rock above the Black Sea, one of the symbols of the Crimea and take a walk along the sea coast.

Day 7
We invite you to visit Bakhchisarai, the capital of the former Crimean Khans State and get acquainted with the rich history of the Crimea. You’ll visit the Khans palace and a place for pilgrimage for many Christians a monastery on a rock in Bakhchisarai.

Day 8
You leave the Crimean peninsula and the next city of our journey is Zaporizhzhya, a former capital of Ukrainian Cossacks . After arrival – a tour around the city and a tour to the isle of Khortytsya which used to be the centre of Zaporizhzhya Cossacks, visiting the museum and participation in the show performed by Cossacks ( if possible).

Day 9
Along the Dnipro we continue our tour up to Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. Arrival to Kyiv. Check in the hotel.

Day 10-11
This day’s dedicated to the acquaintance with Kyiv – the heart of Ukraine, the ” mother of the Rus’ towns”. You’ll visit the green squares, avenues and streets of Ukrainian capital with its numerous monuments, St. Sophia Church, St. Michael gold-cupola church, Andriyivskyi Uzviz with its famous Andriyivska Church designed by Rastrelly, Opera Theatre and many other sites.
Also you’ll visit the most famous Orthodox monastery, which is a part of world heritage, – Kyivo-Pecherska Lavra.

Day 12
A transfer through Zhytomyr and Rivne to Lviv, the centre of Western Ukraine. Check in the hotel in the city centre.

Lviv welcomes you to visit its central part which belongs to the UNESCO world heritage and see the best and the most interesting sites of the city of Leo: Rynok Square, Armenian and Lathin Cathedrals, Pharmacy-Museum, Dominican monastery, the Gunpowder tower and many other.
After lunch you can have a some rest by visiting a cosy park-museum of wooden architecture and rural life ” Shevchenkivskyi Gai” or wonderful Opera Theatre in the city centre.

Day 14
Au revoir to Ukraine and coming back home through the Ukrainian-Polish border.
